See the goats while you are here
The shop is on the farm, and the goat barn is right next door. When the goats are not out grazing, you can go and see them, with no booking and no charge: simply come during opening hours.
They are deeply curious, and they will come to you long before you have gone looking for them. They rather enjoy having their photograph taken.
Three things to know
- Stay behind the electric wires and springs, and everything stays calm.
- Stroking the goats happens with someone from the farm beside you, because of the guardian dogs.
- Leave your dog at home: Alaska and Sarah live with the herd.
The milk sets the calendar
My goats give milk from late February to late November, and the shop follows them. In winter they are on maternity leave: the kids are born in January and February, and the dairy waits for the milk to come back. Here is where I am, month by month, and what you will find on the counter. Exact dates go up on Facebook and Instagram.
- Late FebruaryThe milk comes back, 250 litres a day. The shop reopens.
- MarchThe highest point of the year, a month after the kids are born. More than 600 cheeses a day.
- Late NovemberThe last milking. The shop closes and the goats rest.
Each month is written along the curve. The three months in hollow are the winter break.
What you will find on the counter
The widest choice of the year, and the first grey tommes a few weeks after we reopen. Easter hearts, then the cheese for Mother’s Day.
Little bouchons to nibble with a drink, and the late summer offer on semi-matured and hard cheeses. The taste changes with the grazing.
The milk falls away and the matured cheeses take over. This is the moment to stock up before we close.
Figures taken from the farm’s own posts. The curve shows the shape of the season, it is not a monthly record.
I will tell you when we reopen
The date depends on the kidding, and it falls towards the end of February. Leave me your address and I will write on the day the shop reopens, then once more at the end of the season for the gift vouchers. Two messages a year, no more.

Your questions before you come

From late February to late November, Wednesday to Saturday. In winter the goats are kidding: a few opening days in December as stocks allow, announced on Facebook and Instagram.
How can I pay?
By card or in cash.
Can I buy raw milk cheese and take it home?
Yes. The hard cheeses travel best and come vacuum-packed on request. Everything can be frozen, and we will tell you how long each cheese keeps.
Where else can I find your cheeses?
At La Blachette in Pierrelatte, at Crémerie Forgari in Suze-la-Rousse and at Le Comptoir d’Isa in Saint-Restitut.
Can I bring my dog?
Our guardian dogs live with the herd, so please leave your companion at home.
Do you speak English at the shop?
Yes, you are welcome in English, Wednesday to Saturday, 9am to 12 noon and 4pm to 7pm.
